Dissertation/capstone developemental writing consultation

$85 per hour — I offer individualized, one-on-one developmental writing consultation for five-chapter style dissertations and capstone projects using qualitative or quantitative data sources.

Meetings occur via Zoom on an as needed basis with most students requesting to meet weekly or monthly. Prior to each meeting, students send me their current drafts for review and feedback.

During meetings, we address questions, work through obstacles, and set goals for future sessions. Students request help with all stages of writing including literature reviews, research proposals, data analysis planning, data interpretation, and with drafting the final dissertation manuscript for committee review.

Over the course of multiple meetings, I assist clients in transitioning from students into scholars. By the end of our work together, clients develop confidence in their scholarly aptitude and joy at the prospective of continuing their professional careers post completion of their degrees. All of the capstone and dissertation developmental writing consultation clients who I supported in preparing their final manuscripts have successsfully completed their doctorate or Ph.D. degree programs.

Research design and Implementation Consultation

Variable hourly and project-based rates — I provide feedback and support to community groups and non-profit agencies looking to design a research project to explore a question or test a hypothesis related to their work.

I also offer a variety of services to academics needing help with the completion of their research and writing projects. Academic research assistant consultation may include tasks such as the following:

Developmental writing support for journal articles or book manuscripts

Need help running your data for your dissertation or capstone project? I offer multiple packages to help you get through this part of the journey quickly and efficiently.

I conduct data analysis testing and run descriptive statistics for clients according to their approved data analysis plans using SAS, a statistical program. Package pricing is available to meet a variety of statistical analysis needs.

For those preferring to analyze their data on their own, I also offer guidance and feedback on data analysis planning, running statistical tests using SPSS or SAS, and understanding raw data output files. The hourly rate for this service is $125 per hour.
